The seventh DIY full length album by Albany-based "nanopunk" solo artist _11:34 (Abraham Hmiel) blends post-punk, post-hardcore, no-wave and 90's-style Dischord-era alternative rock with instruments like the ukulele and fretless bass used in unconventional ways. A double album many years in the making, this work explores the challenges of growing into an ethically consistent organism in a time of transition and trying circumstances while maintaining mindfulness, a sense of humor, and the desire to create a mutually-regenerative atmosphere for all beings.
Recorded in various bedrooms, living rooms and The Furnace Collective in Albany, NY.
Total play time: 77:58 FCC warning for radio play: tracks 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 17.
Thanks to Jacklyn Simon for percussion at the end of track 2.
